Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Heritage Hunter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Heritage Hunter is a location-based game for collecting UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The app uses publicly available data from the UNESCO Data Hub to display site information.

In-App Purchases

Heritage Hunter offers consumable ticket packs and an auto-renewable subscription:

  • Ticket Packs: One-time purchases of collect tickets. Tickets do not expire.
  • Unlimited Collecting Subscription: Auto-renewable annual subscription. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. Refunds are handled by Apple through their standard refund process.

UNESCO Data & Third-Party Information Disclaimer

Site data is sourced from the UNESCO Data Hub (data.unesco.org) under the CC BY-SA 3.0 IGO license. Heritage Hunter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to UNESCO or the UNESCO World Heritage Centre.

Coordinates, names, descriptions, and other site information displayed in the app are sourced from third-party data and may contain inaccuracies. We are not responsible for any issues arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated third-party data, including but not limited to incorrect site locations, names, or descriptions.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the app
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unintended benefits

Limitation of Liability

Heritage Hunter is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, inability to access features, or inaccuracies in site information.

Cap on Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to your use of the app shall not exceed the total amount you have actually paid to us through the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. If you have not made any payments, our maximum liability shall be zero.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Taiwan, Republic of China.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
